Why You’ll Love This Recipe

key ingredients
- Cream cheese: We use a whole brick of full-fat cream cheese. Make sure it’s softened at room temperature so it blend into the dough well.
- Softened butter: Be sure the butter is softened at room temperature so it mixes well with the other ingredients.
- Sugar: We used both powdered sugar and brown sugar to add the perfect amount of sweetness. Alternatively, you could also use coconut sugar if you wanted a healthier alternative.
- Peanut butter: Make sure to use creamy peanut butter such as Jif or Skippy brand that’s already stirred and has a little sugar already. I use Skippy’s natural creamy peanut butter but any creamy style will work. Be sure not to use a peanut butter that has oil sitting at the top if you use a natural peanut butter, it won’t work because it will be too oily.
- M&Ms: We use the Halloween edition to make this dip festive.
- Sprinkles: I use a few different Halloween sprinkles for fun! You can find these just about at any grocery store in October or on Amazon any time of the year ;).
- Quick cooking oats: These oats work better as opposed to old-fashioned oats because they are rolled into smaller pieces so the oats won’t be as chewy.
- Chocolate chips: Regular or mini chocolate chip could be used.
- Dippers: Our favorites are apple slices, graham crackers, chocolate chip cookies and pretzels (for a salty combo). Use any of your favorites (see below for more dipper ideas).

FAQ
How To Heat Treat Flour
You always want to be sure you heat the flour before consuming it raw in recipes like this. Theres a small chance that raw flour can contain salmonella and other bacterias so we want to be extra careful.
To make raw flour safe to eat, place on a rimmed baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for about 5-10 minutes. Just be sure it doesn’t burn.
You can also microwave the flour which would be the quickest and easiest way. Place the flour in a microwave safe bowl and heat on high for 20-45 seconds. Each microwave is different, so please be mindful of the temperature.
What Else Can I Add In?
- Toffee bits
- Your favorite chopped up candy bar
- Chopped nuts: Chopped almonds, peanuts, walnuts, pecans, macadamia nuts, and hazelnuts all make great options.

leftovers & storage
- To-store: Place any leftover cookie dough in an airtight container or wrap tightly with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for up up to 1 week.
- To-freeze: Store cookie dough in a freezer-safe container or freezer bag for up to 6 months. I love to roll the cookie dough out into cookie dough balls or small bits and have a stash to add to ice cream or snack on.
