Hi Jenny, yes it does need to stay refrigerated. Place any leftovers in an airtight container or wrap with plastic wrap. It will store for a few days. I hope you love this recipe!

I have a question – is the flour in the cake mix treated?! ie is it safe to eat raw?

Hi Dayna, I have not had any issues with eating raw cake mix, especially since there isn’t any raw eggs in this recipe. This recipe is large enough for 8 servings and is not meant to be eaten as one serving. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thank you, Kathryn

Eating raw flour can be dangerous. Its not only the eggs that makes eating cake mix bad to eat but the actual flour. You can get e coli from eating uncooked/ treated flour
