Thank you so much Heidy! That is so great to know and thank you so much for trying my Clam Dip recipe! 🙂
When sealing in an airtight container, the dip is getting bubbles and becomes watery. I found just aluminum foil to cover works best.
What are the units on the 1 1/2 lemon juice?
Hi Sydney! I am so sorry about that, it is 1 1/2 teaspoons of lemon juice. I hope you love this recipe! Enjoy!
Thank you! It is absolutely delicious!
I’m so happy you loved it!! Thank you for trying my recipe!
Hello Kathryn,
I’m a Katherine, too, but I go by Kathy. Like some of your other fans I have never tried clam dip. I am not a huge clam enthusiast, but your easy clam dip sounds delish! I also have some minced clams in my pantry that I want to use up. I plan to make your dip for our local library’s cookie exchange & savory dip lunch in early December. My question is, what are the best complimentary crudité & other dippers you have enjoyed & served to loved ones. I hope to make a pretty festive platter with mostly red & green veggies so I’m thinking sugar snap peas (if I can find them), red mini bell peppers, celery sticks, grape tomatoes, cucumber or dill pickle spears, etc. And maybe some tasty sesame-whole grain crackers…what do you think?? Thank you for attention to this question & for sharing your wonderful recipes with all of us!!
Happy Cooking & Happy Holidays to you & yours!!
Hi Kathy, thank you so much! I hope you love this Clam Dip. I love eating this dip with potato chips (the salt complements this dip), buttery crackers, or plain pita chips. Fresh veggies work great too! Enjoy!!
Thank you for your serving suggestions, Kathryn! Also, I meant to ask, do you ever add liquid smoke, such as mesquite flavored or smoky paprika to your clam dip? I can’t wait to try it!! Thanks again!! ; )
