DUTCH OVEN PULLED PORK
I love how simple and easy this Pulled Pork recipe comes together in the Dutch oven! Pulled pork is so comforting any time of the year and it’s even better when smothered into a sandwich.
This Pulled Pork is tender and slow cooked in spices and a savory broth. The Dutch oven brings all of the flavors together as the pork soaks up all of the juices. I love serving this Dutch Oven Pulled Pork on a toasted hamburger bun with pickles and more bbq sauce.
INGREDIENTS
- Pork shoulder (boneless): this is the most tender and flavorful cut of pork. All of the pork tissues make this pulled pork shred easily once cooked.
- Spice rub: Brown sugar, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, ground cumin.
- Beer: any dark or lager will add rich and complex flavors.
- Bbq sauce: any of your favorite brands will work!
- Hamburger buns: I always prefer them toasted or warmed.

I love all the seasoning used for this recipe. I’m going to give this a try with beef ribs instead of pork and skip the beer. The idea of using brown sugar to coat the meat is so creative and sounds delicious!
You will have to let me know how it is with beef ribs! That all sounds delicious!
