PIN The Best One Bowl Brownies to try it later!
The best part about these brownies are they’re made with 6 ingredients that you most likely already have at home! These 30 minute one bowl brownies taste better than boxed brownies- they’re chocolaty, chewy, gooey, and have a fudge-like center.
I made these brownies twice last week! I couldn’t believe how much these taste like boxed brownies which I used to make all the time until this recipe. These chocolate brownies requires minimal time in the kitchen and in the oven- they are simply the best!
TIPS FOR MAKING THESE BROWNIES
Before baking these brownies please remember metal pans bake much more quickly than glass baking pans. Each oven bakes a little differently, so start checking the brownies 5 minutes before the suggested bake time so you don’t over bake the brownies.
- If you want your brownies to be extra rich and chocolatey, I recommend adding chocolate chips or chocolate chunk pieces.
- Don’t over mix your brownie batter- this could change the texture of these chewy and fudge-like brownies. It’s OK if the brownie batter has lumps.
- Place parchment paper on the bottom of your baking dish for extra easy cleanup and the brownies will lift right up.
- Use a sharp or plastic knife to cut the brownies for a clean cut.
- These brownies make the BEST BROWNIE SUNDAES. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to these and you will have a new favorite dessert- I promise. So good!!
OTHER INGREDIENTS TO ADD
There are plenty of other ingredients to add to these homemade brownies. Fold in your choice of additional ingredients you want to add to the batter or add to the top.
- White, dark, or milk chocolate chips– these will make the brownies extra rich and chocolatey!
- Mint chocolate pieces– for a hint of mint and extra chocolate.
- M&Ms- chocolatey fun and colorful. Perfect for a kids birthday party or celebration!
- Reese’s Pieces– peanut butter and chocolate is a delectable combination.
- Sprinkles– these are always fun and the sprinkles can be in any form, shape or color for any occasion.
- Chopped nuts– any nuts will work to add a nutty flavor and some crunch.
It’s hard to beat homemade brownies fresh from the oven. Brownies are a classic dessert that everyone loves- especially my husband and dad! I make brownies for just about any occasion or just because.

- Add eggs one at a time, then add the vanilla and stir until combined.
- Stir in the flour until all of the ingredients are incorporated. Be sure NOT to overmix, the batter will be slighly lumpy.

I think point number 4 in instructions contradicts point number 3 in notes. Doesn’t it?
So is it Ok to over mix or not?
Thank you,
Ana.
Hi there! Thank you for your comment, that was a typo. I just fixed it! Be sure to NOT overmix. Just combine the ingredients so they are all incorporated. The batter will be slightly lumpy and that is ok. Thank you and happy baking!
