Cinnamon Rolls are always a good idea for breakfast, even better when it’s baked in a french toast form and can be made the night before. I’ve always been a cinnamon roll lover, if you couldn’t already tell by my Cinnamon Roll Cookies, Apple Pie Cinnamon Rolls and Cinnamon Roll Oatmeal!

This irresistible and mouthwatering breakfast is perfect for holidays, special brunches, get togethers or any morning for breakfast! Gooey cinnamon rolls get drenched and baked in a custard-like egg mixture that has more cinnamon in it and baked until golden brown. Cinnamon roll icing gets drizzled on top for even more deliciousness.

Make these for a birthday celebration and add sprinkles to the top of the icing!

ADDITIONAL INGREDIENTS TO ADD TO THIS CINNAMON ROLL BAKE

Chocolate chips: if you love chocolate, add a cup of chocolate chips to the cinnamon rolls batter or sprinkle them on top.

Sprinkles: add sprinkles to celebrate a birthday or fun celebration!

Chopped nuts: almonds, peanuts, pecans, walnuts or hazelnuts would be delicious on top of the frosting! It would add a crunch and nuttiness to this bake.

Maple syrup: for some extra sweetness maple syrup would be perfect on top of the cinnamon rolls after they have baked. Add the maple syrup on before you add the frosting so the syrup can soak up into the cinnamon rolls.

LEFTOVERS

To store any leftovers (if you have any) cover the baking dish with plastic wrap or transfer leftovers to an airtight container. Place in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. To reheat simply place in the microwave for a few seconds until warm and the frosting has melted.

MAKE AHEAD

You could make this Cinnamon Roll Bake the night before if you want to spare a few minute in the morning. Simply follow steps 1, 2 and 3 and cover the baking dish with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator until you are ready to bake. You may need to add a few extra minutes to the baking time.
