The BEST Homemade Guacamole

I could literally eat this guacamole every day because it’s just that delicious, seriously. I crave this all the time and it makes the best snack, especially during game day!

My favorite guacamole recipe was always from Chipotle until I made this. I love the hint of spiciness this guacamole has from the jalapenos. This is hands down the best homemade guacamole recipe!

I like to use a fork to mash everything up because it’s easy and makes it slightly chunky just how we like it.

The pre-made guacamole from the store just is not the same as the homemade stuff. I felt really lucky the last couple of times I went grocery shopping because the avocados were so perfectly ripe which led me to the best guacamole recipe.

The BEST Homemade Guacamole recipe

Of course my first idea is to always make homemade guacamole when I have enough ripe avocados and plus the Superbowl is coming up so I wanted to share this recipe. TOUCHDOWN!

Add this homemade guacamole to your next Taco Tuesday, make these Carne Asada Street Tacos, this spicy corn dip, and you are set for a fiesta!

Often times when I purchase avocados, they are rock hard. If you have a difficult time finding ripe avocados keep reading, I have a trick. If you want to speed up the process of ripening the avocado(s), place the hard avocados in a paper brown bag for a day or two and it’s just like magic.

The paper bag helps to concentrate the levels of ethylene gas which helps induce the ripening. You will have ripe avocados instantly. You’re welcome! 🙂

Notes

*If you need to store any leftover guacamole, cover the guacamole with plastic wrap. Make sure the plastic wrap is touching the guacamole and there is NO air inside. The air will instantly turn the guacamole brown. Place in the fridge until ready to serve. The guacamole will stay fresh for 2 days if wrapped properly.
