Why You’ll Love This Recipe
key ingredients
- Pizza dough: You can use store-bought or if you want to make your own pizza dough, this is my easy Homemade Pizza Dough recipe. If you’re looking for a store-bought dough, Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods has the best pizza dough!
- Cheeses: I used both mozzarella and parmesan cheese for the best flavors. It’s always best to shred and grate your cheese yourself to make the extra melty and gooey.
- Spices: Salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning.
- Butter: Use to make the garlic butter and adds so much flavor to the top of the pizza dough.
how to make Pizza Dough Bread Sticks
Roll out pizza dough: Preheat oven to 425 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. On a floured surface, roll and stretch out the pizza dough to form a 8×10 inch rectangle.
Make garlic butter: In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, garlic seasoning, salt and pepper. Brush all over the top of the pizza dough.
Add cheese to the top of the dough: Sprinkle the top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese in an even layer.
Bake Pizza Dough Breadsticks: Bake for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is a light golden brown and is bubbling. Broil for a few extra minutes to brown the top (optional).
