This moist banana bread tastes just like classic banana bread, but with a cinnamon twist that gives this recipe a whole new meaning and profile. I like to make this recipe with my favorite chopped nuts to give it a crunch and rich nuttiness that creates a dreamy combo with the bananas.

Sweet breads are fitting for the holidays or just whenever you want to satisfy a craving for something sweet and easy. This bread is perfect for breakfast, brunch, or dessert and will certainly be a favorite for anyone who tries it!
INGREDIENTS
Cinnamon: Ground cinnamon is used for both the sweet cinnamon bread crust and the bread batter.
Sugar: I like to use a combination of sugars for extra moisture and sweetness. Brown and white granulated sugars make this bread softer than the rest out there!
Butter: Melted butter is used for the cinnamon crust and bread batter to give it rich buttery flavors.
Bananas: I use three medium ripened bananas for this recipe to have extra notes of bananas. Make sure the bananas are soft and spotty to make the best banana bread!
Eggs: Eggs hold the bread together and act as a binder for the ingredients.
Vanilla Extract: Pure vanilla extract is used to enhance this bread and give it a subtle vanilla flavor.
Honey: Honey is used in this recipe to make it even sweeter and tastier. I like to use local honey!
Flour: All-purpose flour is what I used for this moist banana bread because it allows the bread to be light and baked to perfection.
Baking soda: Baking soda allows the bread to rise and bake into a rich brown loaf with the perfect crumb!
Salt: Salt is used to give this bread a nice hint of balanced savoriness.

A combination of fats, sugars, and liquids allows this banana cinnamon bread recipe to be moist and the best!
HOW TO MAKE THE BEST BANANA BREAD RECIPE
STEP ONE: Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F. Make the cinnamon-sugar crust by combing the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Next, coat a loaf pan with melted butter by using a pastry brush or something similar.
Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture to coat the bottom and all sides of the loaf pan. Gently, shake the pan to make sure the sugar mixture evenly coats it.
STEP TWO: In a large bowl, mash the bananas together with a fork until smooth (it is okay if there are some lumps). With a wooden spoon, stir in the eggs, melted butter, vanilla extract, and honey. Mix until combined and the batter is smooth.
STEP THREE: Add both the brown and white sugar to the bowl with the vanilla and eggs and stir to combine.
STEP FOUR: Next, add the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon to the mixture. Mix all of the ingredients together until completely combined.
Be careful not to overmix the bread batter or it will not rise the way it is supposed to.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake it in the oven for 55 minutes to one hour until the center is set. Allow the bread to cool before slicing.

BANANA BREAD VARIATIONS
- Chocolate chip banana bread:, add your favorite chocolate chips to the batter just before transferring to the pan.
- Nuts: Add chopped pecans, almonds, walnuts or hazelnuts.
- Add fruit: Top the banana bread with fresh blueberries, bananas, or apple slices right before baking.
- Gluten-free banana cinnamon bread: Use 1:1 gluten-free baking flour.
- Muffins: To make cinnamon and banana muffins, use a cupcake or muffin tin and bake at 350 degrees F for 12 to 15 minutes or until the muffins are done in the centers.

To freeze this bread, slice the cooled banana bread into individual slices and place the slices in a freezer-safe bag and freeze for up to four months. You will be able to enjoy cinnamon banana bread any time of the year!
Allow the frozen bread slices to thaw in the refrigerator overnight before eating.

- 1 Tablespoon butter; melted
- 2 Tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Cinnamon Banana Bread

- 6 Tablespoons butter; melted
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup honey; melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 Tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. To make the cinnamon-sugar crust, combine the cinnamon and sugar in a small bowl. Coat a loaf pan with melted butter- I use a brush to coat the pan.
