Brookie Recipe

This quick and easy Brookie Recipe is made in one bowl and with 2 simple store-bought ingredients. This semi-homemade recipe is the perfect combination of rich and fudgy brownies and soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies. Brookies are the ultimate dessert to enjoy your two favorite sweet treats in one!

Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix plus ingredients to make brownies
  • 1 16 oz. pre-made chocolate chip cookie dough preferably 24 cookies
  • rainbow sprinkles optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly spray a 9x13-inch pan with nonstick cooking spray or line with parchment paper, set aside.
  • Make the brownies according to package directions and spread evenly onto the prepared pan.
  • Form 24 cookie dough balls and flatten with your hands. Place on top of the brownie batter and top with sprinkles. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the cookie dough is golden brown. Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream!
  • Sprinkle flaky sea salt on top of the cookie dough for an extra delicious flavor! Salt and chocolate pair SO well together!

Notes

  • Store brookies in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 week. 
  • Baked brookies can be frozen for up to 3 months.  When ready to eat, thaw at room temperature prior to serving.
