Servings: 20 servings
- 1 16 ounce pacakge vanilla chocolate melts or candy coating
- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 3 cups mini pretzels divided
- 1 1/2 cup salted peanuts divided
- 1/4 cup holiday sprinkles
- 1 cup Christmas M&M candies
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- 1 cup mini gingerbread cookies
- 1 cup mini Reese's peanut butter cups
In a large microwave safe bowl, melt candy according to package directions or in 30 second intervals until candy is melted. Be sure not to over heat the candy otherwise it will become too thick and burn. You may also be able to heat the candy coating in the packing tray- be sure to read the instructions.
Add in the Chex cereal, pretzels, and peanuts. Stir to coat evenly.
Spoon the coated mixture in an even layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Immediately top with sprinkles, M&Ms, marshmallows, mini gingerbread cookies, and peanut butter cups across the mixture.
Let the mixture cool completely so the candy coating hardens or place in the refrigerator if you want to speed up the process. Once set, break apart to serve and enjoy! Store holiday snack mix in an airtight container or ziplock bag for up to 2 weeks.
