Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Bites

These edible Cookie Dough Bites are dipped in chocolate, topped with rainbow sprinkles and make the best cookie dough treat! This no-bake treat for cookie dough lovers and store them in the freezer for months!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup salted butter melted and cooled
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla paste or vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cup heat-treated all-purpose flour see recipe notes
  • 2-3 tabelspoons milk
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles of choice divided
  • 1 cup milk or semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup melted chocolate for dipping

Instructions

  • Add melted butter to a large bowl and whisk together the brown sugar, granulated sugar and vanilla until combined.
  • Add the flour and stir using a wooden spoon until the dough comes together. Stir in chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of sprinkles. Mix until evenly incorporated.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and use a mini cookie scoop and scoop dough balls. Place cookie dough balls on the cookie sheet and freeze for 15 minutes, or just until the dough balls are firm.
  • Once the cookie dough balls are firm, dip half in the melted chocolate, add sprinkles and salt (optional). Place in the refrigerator to chill for 15-20 minutes or until chocolate sets. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Heat-Treat Flour: Heating the flour will kill any bacteria present if theres any. To make raw flour safe to eat, place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for about 5-10 minutes. Just be sure it doesn’t burn.  You can also microwave the flour which would be the quickest and easiest way. Place the flour in a bowl and heat on high for 20-45 seconds. Each microwave is different, so please be mindful of the temperature.
