- 16 ounces fresh pre-sliced mozzarella cheese log
- 2-3 large fresh tomatoes sliced 1/4 inch thick
- fresh basil leaves for garnishing
- flaky sea salt for sprinkling on top
- balsamic vinegar glaze you could also use balsamic vinegar instead
- olive oil for drizzling on top
- crostini, sliced French bread, or crackers
On a large cutting board or serving platter arrange the mozzarella cheese and tomato slices in an alternative pattern, forming a candy cane.
Place the fresh basil leaves around the board or platter along with a small serving bowl of the balsamic glaze and olive oil.
Before serving, sprinkle the tomatoes with sea salt, and drizzle with olive oil. Enjoy with fresh bread!
