Brie Cheese Bread

This Brie Bread makes a perfect holiday appetizer and takes minutes to whip up! Creamy sliced brie is baked on a sourdough loaf until melted and topped with hot honey, pistachios, crispy prosciutto pieces and seasonings. Every bite is sweet, salty, cheesy and so flavorful!

Ingredients

  • 6 slices prosciutto
  • sourdough bread loaf or baguette cut in half
  • 8 ounces brie cheese
  • 2-3 tablespoons roasted and salted pistachips crushed or chopped
  • 2 tablespoons hot honey
  • 1-2 teaspoons fresh or dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Lay prosciutto into little nests and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy. Let cool.
  • In the meantime, line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and lay half of the sourdough loaf in the middle. Slice brie cheese into slices and cover all over the top of the bread. You will probably have some slices leftover, save them for later or eat them as a snack!
  • While the bread bakes, chop the prosciutto into little pieces.
  • Bake bread for 10-12 minutes or until brie is completely melted.
  • Immediately drizzle hot honey all over the bread, then sprinkle with prosciutto pieces, crushed pistachios, thyme and salt.
  • Use a sharp knife to carefully cut into slices, serve and enjoy!
