Course: Dessert
Cuisine: American
Keyword: cake batter dip, dunkaroo dip, funfetti dip
Servings: 10 servings
- 1 box Funfetti cake mix
- 1 8 oz. tube of fat-free or lite Cool Whip
- 1 cup vanilla flavored Greek yogurt fat-free or low-fat works best
- 1/4-1/2 cup rainbow sprinkles
- dippers (animal crackers, teddy grahams, pretzels, graham crackers, or Nilla wafers)
Heat treat the cake mix (instructions on how to heat treat the cake mix is below in the recipe card).
Combine all of the ingredients in a large bowl and mix with a whisk or wooden spoon. Alternatively, you can also beat together with an electric mixer.
Be sure to mix until there are no lumps in the mix. Place in a serving bowl and top with extra sprinkles (totally optional but it makes this dip more fun). Let the dip chill in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
Serve chilled dip with animal crackers or your favorite dippers. You can eat this dip at room temperature but I highly recommend chilling it to set for best results.
Recipe Notes:
- Store any leftover dip in an airtight container or cover the bowl tightly with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for up to 4-5 days. You may need to stir the dip when you want to eat it again.

To heat treat the cake mix to make it safe to eat, place on a baking sheet and bake at 350 degrees F for about 5-10 minutes. You can also microwave the cake mix which would be the quickest and easiest way. Place the cake mix in a bowl and heat on high for 20-45 seconds. Each microwave is different, so please be mindful of the temperature.
