Peanut Butter Muddy Buddies
Chex cereal is coated in a melted peanut butter mixture, then coated in sweet powdered sugar and topped with peanut butter chocolate candies. These Peanut Butter Muddy Buddies are a peanut butter lovers dream dessert!

Ingredients
- 6 cups Rice or Corn Chex cereal
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup peanut butter chips plus more to sprinkle on top
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup Mini Reese's peanut butter cup cut in quarters; optional
Instructions
- In a microwave safe bowl, combine peanut butter, peanut butter chips, vanilla extract, and butter. Melt in the microwave until smooth and stir. I like to heat the microwave in 20-30 second intervals to ensure the peanut butter doesn't overheat.
- Fold in the cereal until coated.
- Spoon the peanut butter coated cereal into a large heavy duty ziplock bag and add powdered sugar. Shake until the cereal pieces are evenly coated in powdered sugar.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil. Pour the cereal and spread with a spatula. Sprinkle the extra peanut butter chips and Reese's candies on top (optional). Enjoy!
