- 2 cups spinach
- 2 cups ice
- 1/4 cup strawberries
- 1 whole banana
- 1/2 cup milk or almond milk
- 1/2 tsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. honey; melted
- 1 Tbsp. chia seeds; optional
- You can simply make this smoothie a wholesome meal by adding 2 - 4 scoops of protein powder. The protein powder flavor could be plain or vanilla. Blend the protein powder with the rest of the ingredients until completely smooth and blended.
- Adding 1 cup of Greek yogurt to this recipe will also add protein to this smoothie.
