Cuisine: American
Keyword: homemade bagel bites, pizza bagel bites
Servings: 12 bagel bites

Ingredients

  • 6 mini bagels cut in half
  • 3/4 cup pizza sauce
  • 12 pieces pepperoni cut in quarters
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper and lay bagel halves cut side up.
  • Add a few spoonfuls of pizza sauce to each bagel top, spreading it evenly.
  • Top with cheese and pepperoni pieces or any of your favorite toppings.
  • Bake for 12 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly. The pepperoni edges should start to get crispy on the edges. Once the bagel bites are baked, I like to top mine with a sprinkle of grated parmesan cheese and parsley to garnish (this is totally optional). Enjoy!

Notes

Recipe Notes:
  1. To-Store: Place any leftovers in an airtight container or cover a dish tightly with plastic wrap and store for up to 4 days. To reheat, place the bagels in the oven or toaster oven until warmed.
  2. To-Freeze baked bagels: Store in an airtight container or heavy duty ziploc bag. You do not need to thaw before baking, just be sure to bake for an extra minute or two. Freeze for up to 4-5 months.
  3. To-Freeze unbaked bagels: Place assembled bagels on a baking sheet and flash freeze them just until they are frozen, about 30 minutes. Transfer them to an airtight container or heavy duty ziploc bag. Freeze for 4-5 months.
