Ingredients

  • 1 can vanilla or cream cheese frosting
  • green food gel coloring
  • yellow mini M&Ms for the star
  • Christmas sprinkles
  • mini M&Ms for the ornaments
  • Hersheys chocolate bars for the tree trunk
  • Dippers we use graham crackers, pretzels, donuts, and cookies
  • peppermint candies
  • gummy bears
  • Christmas M&Ms
  • white chocolate chips
  • Christmas candy

Instructions

  • In a medium or large mixing bowl, mix together frosting and green food coloring until desired shade of green is reached.
  • Add frosting to a piping bag with a large star tip or decorative tip of your choice and chill in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  • When ready to style your board, start out by piping the outline of a Christmas tree onto the center of a large serving tray or board.
  • Fill the inside of the tree in with the frosting.
  • Use the yellow M&Ms to create a star.
  • Create a tree trunk with the Hershey bar pieces.
  • Arrange the donuts, cookies, pretzels, graham crackers and any other dippers around the tree on the board. I used peppermints, white chocolate chips and powdered donuts to create a “snowy” ground underneath the tree.
  • Fill in any gaps with M&M’s, gummy bears, or Christmas candy. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

I recommend making this the same day as serving.
