Ingredients

  • 1 bag popcorn ( I used lightly buttered popcorn) about 10 cups
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup mini pretzel twists broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup candy corn
  • 1/2 cup candy pumpkins
  • 1/2 cup Reese's pieces
  • 1/4 cup candy eyeballs

Instructions

  • Put the popped popcorn into a large bowl and set aside.
  • In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, butter, honey, water, vanilla extract, and salt. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it boil for 2-3 minutes to dissolve the sugar.
  • Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the hot syrup over the popcorn. Use a spatula or wooden spoon to gently mix and coat the popcorn evenly with the syrup.
  • Add in the candies and pretzels. Mix until everything is coated in the syrup and place popcorn mix on a lined baking sheet to cool for 15 minutes. Add to a serving bowl and enjoy!
