Cuisine: American
Keyword: 4th of July Chocolate Covered Strawberries, red, white, and blue strawberries
Servings: 16 servings

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds fresh strawberries rinsed and pat dry
  • 12 ounces white melting chocolate
  • blue sprinkles

Instructions

  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, aluminum foil, or wax paper. Set aside.
  • Place the blue sprinkles in a small deep bowl. Set aside.
  • Place candy melts in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until completely melted and smooth. Be sure not to overheat. If your chocolate appears to be dry, add a teaspoon of neutral oil or coconut oil.
  • Dip each strawberry 3/4 of the way in white chocolate and gently use the side of the bowl to remove any excess chocolate. Dip 1/3 of each berry in the sprinkles and place on prepared baking sheet. Repeat until all of your strawberries are decorated.
  • Let the berries sit in the refrigerator for 10 minutes or on the counter to harden. Enjoy!
