Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars

Peanut Butter Cheerio Bars are quick to make and kids will love this school snack. Made with pantry ingredients and is crunchy, gooey, and naturally sweetened. Everyone will enjoy these no bake cereal treats!

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Cheerios cereal
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Line a 8 x 8 inch or 9 x 9 inch baking dish with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a small saucepan on medium heat, melt together the honey, peanut butter, and vanilla. Stir until completely melted, about 2-3 minutes then remove from heat. Add in cinnamon and stir again.
  • Stir in Cheerios cereal until evenly coated.
  • Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly with a spatula.
  • Chill in the refrigerator for up to 1 hour to set and harden just a bit. Cut into 9 large bars or 16 small bars and enjoy!

Notes

Recipe Notes:
  • Bars will last up to 2 weeks when properly stored at room temperature and will last 3 weeks when stored in the refrigerator. They won’t necessarily go bad after that, but they will start to get stale and could dry out.
