‘Dunkaroo’ Funfetti Dip

If you grew up in the 90’s and early 2000’s then you already know that Dunkaroo’s were the best snack ever! I remember eating these in my school lunches, after school snacks, and little play dates with friends. We were all obsessed with them–they were the best. They came in a little pack with cinnamon cookies and this deliciously sweet vanilla or chocolate frosting spinkle dip. You would rip the wrapper off and then you would dunk the cookies in the dip for the perfect treat…hence the name “dunkaroos”! You just couldn’t go wrong with this old favorite snack.

This light and fluffy dip is simply amaaazzzing. It literally tastes like Dunkaroo dip except–it is lighter and so much better because you can actually enjoy it without the guilt. The best part of this whole dip is…. it’s low-fat! Not to mention, it will bring back a TON of memories as a kid, it did for me at least. To make it extra special, I used another old favorite cookie: Barnum’s Animals Cookies/Crackers to dunk them in. You can also use cinnamon gram crackers, Nilla Wafers, Teddy Grahams, Sugar Cookies, or anything you would like!

1 box of Funfetti cake mix

1 8 oz tube of fat-free Cool Whip

1 cup plain fat-free yogurt

1/4-1/2 cup of sprinkles


  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and mix with a whisk or wooden spoon. Be sure to mix until there are no lumps in the mix. Place in a serving bowl and add more sprinkles to the top :). Serve with animal cookies, gram crackers, cookies, or whatever you are in the mood for! You can't go wrong with this dip! Enjoy!

Funfetti Sprinkle Cookies dipped in White Chocolate


Sprinkles just make me happy. There’s just something about them…If I could I would put sprinkles on everything 🙂 Heres a quick recipe that I always make when I need to make treats in a short amount of time. You should always have a box of funfetti mix in your cupboard at all times so you can bake these. I love using white chocolate for these cookies because of the little extra crunch when you bite into it.. just wait and try it yourself!

1 box of funfetti cake mix
1 egg, 1 egg yolk
½ tsp vanilla extract
½ cup melted butter
Melting white chocolate

1. Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, eggs, vanilla, and butter until it becomes a cookie dough consistency. Add in as many sprinkles as you like..I added about ½ cup.

2. Bake cookies for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes. Melt chocolate and dip cookies and scrape off extra chocolate with a butter knife. Top with more sprinkles and repeat until done! You can really do this any way you likeJ. You can even drizzle the chocolate over the cookies if you wanted to do it quickly. Whatever way you decided to frost your cookies, they will still taste delicious I can tell you that!

Funfetti Cake Batter Bars


Funfetti Cakes are my favorite cakes to bake because of all the SPRINKLES!!! Back in my college days, me and my friends/roommates would make cookies out of cake mix occasionally because it was so easy and took a few minutes to bake..plus they make the best cookies if you have a major sweet tooth like me. I changed up the recipe a bit and made these cookies into bars and added a LOT more sprinkles and chocolate. These are so fun and pretty to eat!

Yield: 12

1 box of funfetti cake mix
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp corn starch
1/2 cup sprinkles
1/2 cup white chocolate chips

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a mixing bowl, mix together cake mix, melted butter, eggs, vanilla extract, corn starch, sprinkles, and white chocolate chips. (Save a few sprinkles and white chocolate chips for the topping!)

2. Lightly grease a 9 x 9 inch baking pan and smooth out cake mixture until even. Top with more sprinkles and white chocolate chips and put in oven and bake for 25-30 minutes. Let cook for 15 minutes after (it will cook a little more during the cooling process!). Cut into bars and enjoy!

Funfetti Muddy Buddies


If you like cupcakes, cakes, and sugar cookies, you will most definitely love these! The first time I made these yummy treats was when I went to go visit my friends in Fresno. It was quick, easy and the perfect sweet snack!

Yield: 10 Servings

9 cups Corn Chex Mix cereal
1 12 ounce package of white chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter (or margarine)
1/4 cup milk (or heavy cream)
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cups Funfetti cake mix
1/2 cup sprinkles

1. Measure Chex mix cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.

2. Melt white chocolate chips, butter, and milk over a double broiler or in the microwave if you are in a hurry.

3. Pour melted white chocolate over cereal, stirring until evenly combined. Pour into 2 gallon resealable food-storage plastic bags.

4. Add powdered sugar and cake mix into bag. Seal bag; shake well until well coated. Add sprinkles and spread coated Chex cereal unto wax paper to cool. Store in air-tight container.
