If you are looking for a quick and east treat to whip up Valentine’s Day, this is the treat for you! These cookies take less than 5 minutes to prepare and bake in less than 10 minutes. These will save you if you need to bring cookies for work, classroom parties, or to surprise your Valentine!
There is just something about cake mix cookies that everyone loves. Maybe because it’s super easy? Or maybe because the cookies taste like cake? Or maybe it’s just because they are delicious and anyone can make these sweet treats! You can add as many or less sprinkles that you want to these. Valentine’s Day is one of my favorite days because I love all of the decor that comes with it! Such as these cute heart shaped sprinkles I found at my local grocery store.
If you have more time and want to add more to these cookies, dip half of the cookie in melted white chocolate and add sprinkles. I made these for my good friend Brittany’s lettering workshop one weekend as a treat for everyone and it was a hit!
These cookies will be sure to put a smile on anyone's face!
1 package of Strawberry Cake Mix
1/3 cup vegetable oil
Sprinkles for decoration
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix together all of the ingredients until combined. I added some sprinkles to the mix as well!
- Roll cookies into golf-ball size or use a mini ice-cream scope to get a perfect shape. Place onto a lightly greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Add sprinkles to the tops and bake for 7-10 minutes or until edges start to brown. Cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
